What Cymose is
Every AI chat is one line. You ask, it answers, and to try a second approach you either lose the first to the scroll or start over. Cymose makes the conversation a tree on an infinite canvas: branch any message, work several directions at once, and keep all of them.
Because branches can’t see each other, comparing two of them actually means something — and when one settles the question, you Promote it: the conclusion climbs back up to the node it forked from, and every branch you open afterwards already knows.
The short version
Section titled “The short version”- Branch any message into its own thread. Three ideas side by side, not stacked in one chat.
- Promote a conclusion up the tree, so a decision made three levels deep stops being something you retype.
- Diff, merge, cherry-pick between branches — by meaning, not by characters.
- One tree across the web app, Obsidian, and the terminal. The clients are open source.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Your first branch — do it once, and the rest is obvious.
- Branching & Promote — the one idea the whole product is built on.
- Projects, Memory and Notes — how work is kept and carried.
- Choosing a model and Credits & limits — what a message costs and how the limits work.
- Connected sources and Flows — reach outside the chat and let it run on its own.
