Memory

Promote sends a branch’s conclusion up to its parent. Memory is the same move aimed one level higher — at you. Press Remember in the chat header and the takeaway is kept above every project, read into every conversation you open afterwards.

It’s a list you can read

Open Memory from the sidebar and every item is there: what it says, and which conversation it came from. Each one can be edited or deleted on its own. Nothing arrives on its own — you chose every item.

That provenance is the point. The complaint about memory in other assistants is that something gets absorbed, you can’t see what, you can’t tell why an answer came out strange, and you can’t remove one item without wiping them all. Here every memory names its source and stands alone.

What it won’t do

Temporary chats neither read nor write it — “nothing is stored” means nothing is recalled either. And it won’t remember something that concluded nothing: press Remember on a conversation that settled nothing and it tells you so rather than filling up with noise.
