Bring your own key
If you’d rather not think about credits, connect your own OpenRouter key. Cymose then stops metering you: no credits, no windows, every model available, billed to you at OpenRouter’s rates.
One click, no copy-paste
Section titled “One click, no copy-paste”Connect it from Settings in one click — there’s no key to create or copy by hand. It’s the option we reach for ourselves, and there’s no version of Cymose that hides it behind a plan.
Where the key lives
Section titled “Where the key lives”The key is stored only in your browser and never on our servers — a turn carries it through to OpenRouter, and it is never written down or logged. The trade-off is that it doesn’t follow you to another device; you connect it once per browser.
